Digitised copy of a hand-drawn map of the mountains aurrounding Milford Sound, Lake Ada, Arthur River, and Lake Te Anau in the South Island of New Zealand created 1889. Bears signature: "W Deverell 1889" in bottom left corner.
Also shows an annotated red dotted line tracting the tramping route between Milford Sound and Lake Te Anau, and annotated circled numbers from 1 to 33 which are placed on unamed nearby peaks or unamed localities along the route.
