[Missionary Press reward tickets. 1800s]
- Date
- 1850-1910

- Eph-B-RELIGION-C-1800s-01
- Description
A sheet of 32 reward tickets each with a different Biblical quotation (unsourced). Each ticket has the numbers: "One", "Two", "Five" or "Ten" in the lower left corner, indicating the amount of the "reward".
This may be "an early printing by one of the Mission Presses" (Vendor's suggestion). It is unclear when these tickets were issued, and who the printer was, but newspaper advertisements for Sunday School reward tickets appear around 1863-1905. The Mission presses were operating earlier - up to the 1860s.
