Transparencies showing floats at the Hastings Blossom Festival in 1957. Taken by Ron Potts. Photographs show floats decorated in blossom (including from New Zealand Nursing, Vauxhall Victor, Blossom With Milk, a Māori cultural group, and a Cinderella themed float) and spectators along the route. Also a Welcome to Hastings sign arching over the street and a pipe band. One photograph shows an illuminated fountain in Napier.
