Photographs taken by John Miller at the National conference in Te Kaha, 1993. Also a note that Miller wrote to Averil Herbert relating to the prints. All the prints have captions on the back written by the photographer.

Images include group portraits, a landscape/seascape taken from Maraenui Hill, images of the pōwhiri, and people in the kāuta and whare kai, also images of clay work, bone carving, harakeke weaving, and carvings.

Named people include Wi Taepa, Brian Flintoff, Marge Rau-Kupa, Arapera Kaa-Blank, Hana Te Hemara, Huihana Rewa, and Georgina Kirby.
