Description

Two manilla folders labelled "1. Background / misc" and "2. Early May" comprising research papers and correspondence relating to Anderson's research into the 1864 Battle of Moutoa and the death of Brother Euloge. Includes an order of service sheet for Moutoa Centennial celebrations at Ranana 16 May 1964, three typescript pages titled "The beginning of the Hauhau cult", and photocopies of research material from the Alexander Turnbull Library along with a translation of some letters from Māori to English provided by H. H. Takarangi, licenced interpreter of Whanganui.
