All images show men and women attending Manawatu Power Boat races on Lake Horowhenua in 1981. Ans Westra has focused on several people with intellectual disabilities, including a young man with Down's syndrome. They are probably from the Kimberley Centre. Frame 12 show two pairs of legs, two people lying on the roof of their car in the sun. Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
