Description

All frames show children wearing medieval-styled costumes at Karori West Normal School, playing games outside in the playground area. A young boy dressed in a Robin Hood outfit is using a hockey to hit a ball with several children watching (frame1); another boy is sitting at a desk as if in the stocks (his head through a hole in a large piece of cardboard, with a sign above him which reads "Throw", frames 4 & 7 to 9); ). Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
