- Description
All frames taken at a country horse show, possibly in the Whanganui area. Horses and their young riders are seen in frames 1 to 9. Ans Westra has focussed on three white horses with close-up views in frames 3 to 8. In frame 9 a young rider is seated on a horse with no saddle beside a small hut selling drinks, and two very young girls are standing near, wearing full riding gear, including jodhpurs, hacking jackets and riding helmets. A group of young people is gathered by a car (frames 10 & 11) with Irish yew trees and a steep hill in the background; a young woman is perched on the front seat of her car with a drink. Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
