- Description
All frames taken at a rodeo, probably at Waimarino Showgrounds, Raetihi. Frames 1 & 2 show a man in a pen, his saddled horse beside him and a number of bareback horses around him. They have white numbers branded onto their rumps. He is walking along the top of a fence between pens in frame 3, there are more horses in pens behind, and a line of cars and trucks in the background. A very young girl is leading a horse in frames 4 to 12; she is in complete control, totally confident. The horse is wearing support "boots" on its hind legs, reins, and has no saddle. Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
