- Description
All frames taken at the Greytown Memorial Park during the Greytown Borough Centennial celebrations. Scenes include an older woman wearing period clothes including a bonnet tied with large bow beneath her chin (frames 1 to 3); a young man beside her is holding a loudhaler (frames 1 & 2), and she is seen with another woman beside a table on which there are large bags of apples (frame 3). Young children are seen riding on a small merry-go-round (frame 5). A young man holding his baby is wearing a t'shirt with the logo "100 Years of Greytown Rugby". A woman is kneeling on the grass, holding her handbag beside her (frames 8 & 9). A number of men are seen working hard in a tug of war (frames 10-12). Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
