Description

Colour proof sheets showing power stations, dams, and surrounding areas, as well as other images related to electric power production in New Zealand.

Images include untitled scenery, scenery in the South Island and on the East Coast of the North Island (including the statue of Captain Cook in Gisborne), an "old power station near Havelock North", the information centre at New Plymouth Power Station, landscaping at Atiamuri dam and power station, Wairakei village, the 'rogue bore' at Wairakei, an untitled sheet of portaits of a woman labelled "Miss McCubbin" on the back, a display by the Electricity Department in Palmerston North in 1971 with a sign for "Centennial Electricity Week", a model of Napier, and some aerial views.

Sheets 208 and 230 are annotated "Not used". Sheet 229 has no content.
