A view from above Wellington of about 20 ships leaving the harbour, with a number of yachts accompanying them out. The atmosphere apears as a grey morning but the streets are full of bunting, giving an air of festivity. The Post Office Clock Tower and the Governmnet Life Insurance building stand out within the city .
A note adhered to the backing board states 'Originally sold at McGregor Wright's in 1903 for 2 guineas'.
