Images 1, 3, 4 show visitors and lion dance at the Chinese Anglican fair in Taranaki Street in 1970. Images 5 to 12, also at the fair, show a Wellington pensioner and his dog Rocky [i.e Rockie], well-known collectors for charity, using a tambourine as a collecting box. Photographs taken by Ans Westra. Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified.
