Description

A view from the lower end of the glacier, painted when Fox was Premier at the time of his visit in 1872. The glacier was originally called the Albert Glacier, but was renamed in Fox's honour. The aspect is looking upwards towards the Southern Alps, but viewed from above. Two figures can be seen at the bottom of the glacier.
