The scissors have cut off several places - West Coast (Westport), the Far North (Kaitaia), and the upper Bay of Plenty (Whakatane) - from the map of New Zealand, symbolising an end to air services to those locations. A voice from below says, "When they said 'cuts', I was hoping they were talking about the prices!"
