Collection of photographs of, and relating, to Peter Godfrey from the period 1950s to 1990s, by various photographers.
Includes formal studio portraits of Godfrey, some showing the subject conducting with a baton. Group portraits of choirs and orchestras in uniform, and in performance, including some in the Auckland Town Hall.
Also includes contact sheets showing sequences of portraits of Godfrey conducting, by Wilson & Horton Ltd, and New Zealand Herald and Weekly News. Other portraits by Christopher Bede Studios Ltd, Auckland, and University of Auckland Photographic Department.
Other photographs show Godfrey with others, including photograph captioned on reverse as "Me photographing my friend - Photographing P. Godfrey: Cambridge Music School Summer 1959. Choir members and conductor taking Time Out after all that singing with no piano!".
