Description

Depict an Electoral Commission officer holding a clipboard and scratching his head as a steam train hauling 'Labour' and 'National' carriages comes past. At the back end is an open caboose full of the minor parties and political characters who might be elected to Parliament under the MMP system, which the cartoonist refers to as 'The tail that wags the Parliamentary dog'. Minor Party characters are: Mana Party, Kim Dotcom, ACT Party, Green Party, Destiny Church, Flat Earth Party, United Future, Winston Peters, Tame Iti, Topp Twins, Mad Butcher Party, King Richard II, and the 'Pull yourself together Party'.
