Scenes from a tangihanga at Kapahonga Marae, Hiruharama, taken in 1963 by Ans Westra. Unless otherwise stated all persons are unidentified.
Includes portraits of mourners - man in Frame 3 identified as George Hinaki. Images also show mourners outside the whare nui, and in Frames 8,9,10 Rev Turoa Pohatu and Rev Api Mahuika conduct the service.
