Scenes from the Maori Festival of Arts, Ngaruawahia, taken in 1963 by Ans Westra. Unless otherwise stated all persons are unidentified.

Images are mostly portraits, including the contralto singer Hannah Tatana, several portraits of Kiri Te Kanawa, and Charles Ingram, the Festival organiser. Also includes portrait of Hannah Tatana and Kiri Te Kanawa standing together.
