Images of Te Runa family baking at home near Ruatoria, taken in 1963 by Ans Westra. Unless otherwise stated all persons are unidentified.
Images show mother Animata Te Runa with her children in the kitchen, where she prepares and bakes 'Maori' bread. Some frames show a large wood-burning range.
Some of the images in the set AWM-0582 to AWM-0602 were published in 'Washday at the Pa'.
