Images showing scenes from a Ringatu Church meeting, Wainui, and from a tangi, around Waiohau, Urewera, taken in 1963 by Ans Westra. Unless otherwise stated all persons are unidentified.
Images show portraits of kuia, people sitting outside tents and meeting house (whare nui) at Wainui. Older woman in frame one identified as Mrs Ani Natanu (?) of Ruatoki. Also show scenes of mourners on marae at tangihanga near Waiohau.
