Images show scenes from a Maori Women's Welfare League hui, Rotorua, taken in 1963 by Ans Westra. Unless otherwise stated all persons are unidentified.

Images consist of:

- Frame 6 shows Mrs Kukutai from Tuakau.

- Frames 7-8 show Mrs R.Wright and Mrs E. Sarjeant, delegates from the Hamilton District Council.

- Frame 9 shows Mrs Grooby (now known as Mrs Phillips) of Dunedin.

- Frame 10, on the right shows Maraea Te Kawa, Ngati Porou.

- Frame 11, left to right shows Te Arahori Potaka and Rangitaamo Takarangi, both of Ngati Tuwharetoa.
