Hydrographic chart 255-34. New Zealand - South Island - Anchorages on the East Coast. Showing five charts printed on one sheet - C[ape] Campbell, Kaikoura Peninsula, Flaxbourne, Waiau-ua River, and Gore Bay.
Originally published at the Admiralty Office, London, 21 March 1870. This edition printed 1934. Engraved by Davies, Bryer & Company. Drawn by R C Corrington.
Manuscript annotations include highlighting of beacon locations, corrections to longitude data on all five maps on the chart, and the demarkation of "Firing Danger Area" north of Cape Campbell. Manuscript corrections up to 1941.
