Topographical map showing the area from Ngaruawahia down to Marton including the coast, and across to Bay of Plenty and Hawke's Bay. Published for the Proceedings of the Royal Geographical Society, 1885, from explorations made by J. H. Kerry-Nicholls in April-May 1883. A key explains that route traversed and stations are indicated with lines and circles. An inset map shows New Zealand with place names added.
Includes table of altitudes above sea level and names of rivers, plains and lakes not previously shown on maps.
