Manuscript annotations include pencil note "Copy in G. B. Records"; in red ink selected place names underlined, one point marked as unamed peak [sic], discreprencies between location of Mount Lambert and Mount Goethe indicated by arrows in comparison to New Zealand 4-mile sheet number 25.
