A seminar focusing on some of the most important protest movements in New Zealand's recent history through the life of Rona Bailey, political activist, Communist and trade unionist who has participated in progressive politics for over fifty years. Her four major areas of involvement have been the Communist Party, the 1951 waterfront lockout, the anti-Vietnam War protest and protest against apartheid and racism.
Those involved in presentations and panel discussions, other than Rona Bailey, are Melanie Nolan, Jackie Matthews, Kerry Taylor, Sue Piper, Max Bollinger, Dick Scott, Pat Walsh, Peter Franks, Dave Morgan, Therese O'Connell, Alick Shaw and Jock Phillips.
