1976:

Every year has its special film ... "Storm boy" ... Air New Zealand presents "Pouihi ... a legend of New Zealand". Filmed in Panavision, directed by Geoff Dixon, cinematographer John Blick. Written & produced by Paul Ricketts; original music by John Charles [1976-1977]

1977:

Australia brought you Bazza Mckenzie and Alvin Purple; now New Zealand brings you "Wild man" starring Bruno Lawrence ... Plus! "Dagg day afternoon" featuring Fred Dagg in his big screen debut. Great New Zealand entertainment, directed by Geoff Murphy; produced by John Barnett.

"Off the edge". Their search led them into New Zealand's treacherous mountain wilderness never to return the same. Starring Jeff Campbell and Blair Trenholme.
