- Description
The image originally accompanied a column by Mark Sainbury in the Sunday Star Times, 26 October 2014, entitled, 'When is an PM not a PM? When talking to bloggers?', with the standfirst, "DO YOU give a toss about the flag? Apparently a lot of people do which is why the pollies for many years shied away from any talk of change for fear of upsetting veterans who risked their lives and lost many mates fighting under this symbol of our country. Hasn't deterred John Key of course - he seems to have the bit between his teeth on this one." Depicts Prime Minister John Key, a proposed new New Zealand flag and the original flag.
