Shows a schoolteacher asking his class for examples of some "amazing discoveries of our time" with students offering examples such as Fleming discovering penicillin; Newton discovering gravity; Halley's Comet; and Abel Tasman discovering New Zealand. One student then says "And John Key finally discovered Northland this year' to which the teacher responds "Quite so!" Comments on the attention being given to the Northland region by politicians as a result of the Northland by-election.
