- Description
Cartoon depicts Prime Minister John Key enjoying a beer with Labour leader Andrew Little while Green Party co-leader Metiria Turei fumes behind them. Little is saying to Key "...at the risk of being sexist, racist & politically incorrect... she's not exactly 'one of the boys', is she?" The context is the Green Party accusing the 'old boys' club' of Labour and National of shutting out the Greens after Opposition Leader Little described Turei as 'inexperienced' when he broke with convention by excluding minor parties from a seat on Parliament's powerful Intelligence and Security committee.
