'Klarc' cartoons commenting on political and social issues in New Zealand published in the Northern Advocate on Saturdays and also some published in the local Whangarei 'Scene' magazine.
Shows three gamblers at so-called pokie machines. One says "So the taxpayers aren't going to subsidise Sky City after all." The other replies "Wanna bet?" Context is SkyCity Entertainment Group's projected funding shortfall and the Government's subsequent announcement that no further taxpayer funds would be contributed.
