- Description
Accompanying note from cartoonist states, 'The passionate anti-austerity stance of the new Greek government is like an echo of Dario Fo's drama "We can'ay! We won't pay!". It's a piece of theatre the European "troika" is not going to enjoy. The cartoon depicts (in a light way, intended to represent the whole 'Troika') the German Minister of Finance Wolfgang Schauble. The principal colours are intended to echo the Greek flag. Published on 26 January 2015 on the Martin Doyle political cartoon Facebook site.'
