Description

'Klarc' cartoons commenting on political and social issues in New Zealand published in the Northern Advocate on Saturdays and also some published in the local Whangarei 'Scene' magazine.

Under the caption: 'NZ Navy should have fired warning shot across bow of poaching ship - Ron Mark', two whales are alarmed as one boat fires at another, with one whale saying "Quick! Dive! Looks like they've taken his advice". Refers to a question by New Zealand First MP Ron Mark in response to boats (from Panama) caught illegally fishing for Antarctic toothfish.
