Michael Barnett sits in an office with the SkyCity tower outside the window, opening mail sent to the Auckland Chamber of Commerce. As he adds another letter to a large discard pile he says "Dammit, another suggestion on what to call Auckland from south of the Bombays..." Refers to a survey of Auckland business people that showed support for retaining the name 'City of Sails'. Barnett claimed that the name does not reflect the region and should go. The cartoonist comments on the attitude of New Zealanders who live outside of Auckland, suggesting they have no great love of that city.
