- Description
Commentary from the artist reads 'President Xi Jinping's alert re corrupt individuals lying low in New Zealand should be taken seriously. Big money, wherever it comes from, is like raw meat to hungry (non-discerning) dogs. Rather than quick, glib denials from our politicians regarding ill-gotten gains, a thorough probe is required. In my cartoon, the meat represents ill-gotten funds invested in NZ. The dogs represent the non-discerning NZ market/political parties. Cartoon depicts Chinese President, Xi Jinping, and PM John Key.'
