A richly illustrated broadsheet showing the text of several Christmas songs, with the message encouraging the rich to feed the poor at Christmas time. Three of the four songs are titled: "Lament of old Christmas", "An ancient carol", and "God rest ye merry gentlemen". The illustrations show a ball scene at the top, and smaller images of blindman's buff, Hunt the slipper, Twelfth night, Returning from school, and oafish men skating and falling on ice.
