- Description
Leaders of political parties take part in a survival course, which includes a race through mud. A filthy John Key, the leader of the National Party, leads, commenting "Piece of cake so far...". In the background among the other struggling competitors, appears Winston Peters, the leader of New Zealand First, walking over the mud with ease. A notice pointing to the finish line, indicates that the race is halfway through.
Halfway through the 2014 election campaign, which so far had been a dirty affair, John Key and the National Party, although heavily stained with mud, held the lead. However, Winston Peters and New Zealand First had avoided most of the scandals and mud thrown at and by other parties, and was catching up.
