Shows a highly-detailed view of Havana Bay, highlighting the Artillery Barracks, which flies a red and white-striped ensign, La Punta fort (Castillo de San Salvador de la Punta), the harbour itself, and Morro Castle (Castillo de los Tres Reyes Magos del Morro). One ship and several rowboats are in close view, with more ships further out, past the opening to the harbour
Part of, but acquired separately from, the Library's collection of watercolours painted by William Fox on his return trip to New Zealand when he and his wife spent time in Canada, the United States and Cuba
