- Description
Cartoon shows a figure wearing a hospital gown with a paper bag covering his head, representing the Christchurch Cathedral. A voice says, "Let's make-over! Let's restore! Let's beautify!" and removes the paper bag to reveal a bruised and disfigured face underneath. The hand returns the bag over the head and says, "Er... let's flag it". Cartoon references attempts to save the damaged Christchurch Cathedral from demolition. The cathedral was badly damaged in the September 2010 and February 2011 earthquakes in Christchurch.
