The image originally accompanied a column by Colin Espiner in the Sunday Star Times, 13 July 2014, entitled, 'Overpowering security', with the standfirst, "Scissors, gel and water are one thing but Homeland Security's latest edict takes air-travel pain to new heights." From the article, 'Mobile phones and other electronic devices with low or no power are getting confiscated in airports over fears of non-detectable explosive devices in the devices battery.'
