- Description
Cartoon shows four panels depicting news stories from the week. One shows a man sitting at the beach reading a newspaper with the headline, 'More Greek-style summers ahead'. The man thinks to himself, "Great, we'll have weather to match our economy". Another panel shows a Fijian military commander holding a bloodied morning star weapon who says, "We've got no rule of law and we're proud of it, but don't let that spoil your next Fiji holiday". The third panel shows a man protesting same-sex marriage, holding a sign that says, "No to gay marriage' and who wears a shirt reading, 'God hates fags'. He tells two men wearing tuxedos who hold hands as they walk to the registery office to "Stop persecuting me!" The final panel shows newly elected Pope Francis, who wears a dirty cloak labelled, 'secrecy'. The Pope says, "Maybe its time to change old habits".
