Accompanying note from cartoonist states 'The decision of the Whangarei District Council to drop the Hundertwasser Arts Centre idea is mind-numbing. The powers that be need to step in. Hundertwasser belongs to the nation and if the wallahs of Whangarei aren't up for it, then the HAC should be built somewhere like Wellington. Cartoon is done is a loose Hundertwasseresque style, and uses a slogan Hundertwasser placed on one of his posters.'
