Cartoon depicts a white elephant on a black background. Text refers to Auckland getting a Sri Lankan elephant while Fiordland is getting a white elephant. Accompanying note from the cartoonist reads "The cartoon was made in anticipation of a decision approving the monorail. It was used on the on the Facebook site as such earlier this year. The term "white elephant" was used by politicians several times lately in referring to the likely destiny of any monorail built".
