Photograph album includes a range of photographs, including family and group portraits, images from World War One, travel photographs from the Riviera in Europe, and photographs of scenery and views mainly of the Gisborne area. Album also includes images of automobiles and scenery of Napier and Waikaremoana, and photographs taken at the Sydney Zoo and other sites in Australia. The album also contains a series of photographs of the shipwrecking of the Star of Canada on Kaiti Beach, Gisborne. Many photographs have some caption information.
The S.S. Star of Canada wrecked on Kaiti Beach in Gisborne on 23 June 1912.
