Shows a detailed view looking across Manchester Street towards the Cashmere hills, pobably from the northern end near Bealey Avenue. A church spire can be seen on the left, with other of the city's buildings and private houses and gardens, as well as horses and carriages in the street
The spire could belong to the Chapel of Ease, built near the site of St Luke's church. The chapel was pulled down in 1908
