Each card shows a landscape of a central scene, serenely painted but depicting a scene of repair, or the devastation caused by the 2011 earthquakes. There are no people in the scenes. Includes pictures of Christchurch Cathedral, the Catholic Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, C F Cotter's shop, boarded-up houses, Neil Dawson's chalice sculpture, empty shops, stacked shipping containers acting as safety shields, one (shown on two different cards) with a reproduction of a Tony Fomison painting of a man with a raised hand. The "wish you were here" message is a common one on tourism postcards, but in this case it is related to the idea that the rest of New Zealand would need to visit Christchurch to appreciate fully the damage to the city and its inhabitants' psychological state.
