Description

Cartoon depicts an Egyptian judge delivering a verdict finding 528 people guilty and sentencing them to death by hanging. Commentary from the artist states "An Egyptian court has found 528 people guilty (of a particular murder) after a two-day trial and immediately sentenced them all to death (by hanging). This is surely a scene out of 'Blackadder'. Trouble is, they're not joking". Refers to the death sentence issued by an Egyptian judge to 528 Muslim Brotherhood supporters of ousted Islamist President Mohammed Morsi for charges of murdering a policeman and attacks on people and property. The Muslim Brotherhood has been declared a terrorist organisation.
