Profile full-length portrait of Captain James Cook, standing on a shore, his right elbow on a map and left hand pointing at a globe on top of a large package wrapped ready for shipping. A mast is beyond the package, with another package on the ground behind Cook, and the sea with distant sails is in the background. Otaheite (Tahiti) can be read on the globe.
