Commentary from the artist reads "There seems to be a Salem Witch Trial planned for Auckland. Even today, no one does it like Puritans. On show is not just the Mayor's foibles, but also the sinister punitiveness of New Zealand culture, especially in relation to issues of sex. Cartoon depicts Mayor Len Brown and a non-gender-specific whipper."
