- Description
Under the caption 'Climate change dooms several species' a bespectacled polar bear, labelled 'Banks' clings to the last melting remnant of the ACT iceberg.
Climate change was noted throughout 2013 as endangering many species, among them polar bears from the melting of the Arctic sea ice. Likewise, the vicissitudes undergone by the ACT party caused a shrinking of their support and the possible loss of their sole seat in parliament, that of John Banks, whose actions were the cause of much of the that party's misfortunes.
